best and worst of Spider-Man: Homecoming

Spider-man your friendly neighborhood spider guy is a all-time favorite superhero of all comics fans and basically everyone who enjoys a superhero movie. The latest Spider-man movie the Spider-man homecoming was released in june.It was the first Spider-man movie co-produced by marvel studios. Before this movie all the Spider-man movies were made by Sony pictures because they owns Spider-man merchandise Because of a deal happened in mid-eighties. Alongside other marvel characters, Deadpool fantastic four and x-men that owns by 20th century fox. When marvel studios started making marvel superhero movies in 2008 by making iron-man. They created the marvel cinematic universe where all their movies happens in the same timeline, And follows one major plot line. So basically marvel universe will not be completed without their most famous superhero Spider-man but they can’t make a Spider-man movie because they don’t own the rights. For Spider-man merchandise.so they made a deal with Sony pictures and produced Spider-Man: Homecoming

So when marvel produce a movie it was always been a top notch. Every little second of the movie was enjoyable and action-packed. When fans heard there will be a marvel Spider-man movie fans expected it to be the best Spider-man movie that was ever made.as I was said it never disappointed the movie fans.it was a great movie great plot with a great cast. Tom Holland who portrait Peter Parker AKA Spider-man gives a top class performance and supporting actors and actresses does justice for their given roles. So it was a movie one can enjoy but it was a huge let down to the Spider-man comic fans.

In this movie Spider-man was portraits as a hero that was made by tony stark AKA iron-man who gives Spider-man his suit with all the high tech gadgets and stuff. Makes being Spider-man is easy that any loser can be a one. Concept of Spider-man being a superhero is not based on his gadgets but on his instincts. Oh! Talking of instincts where is “spider sense”. The most important ability that Spider-man has to sense the oncoming dangers.it was never shown in the movie once. And his powers were very under estimated we only got to see his wall crawling skill and the superhuman strength. Other abilities like healing factor, reflexes, equilibrium, etc were not very well shown on the movie and his expertise in physics, chemistry, biology, engineering and applied sciences were not very well shown in the movie.it is a important matter because he uses his skills in science to get out of troubles in comics

Ned Leeds a character who works in the daily bugle as a reporter and helps Spider-man, they brought him as a fat Asian high school friend of Peter Parker what’s up with that and why he has to be Asian And many other important characters has given a worse character descriptions. ‘Flash’ the high school student who bullies peter Parker all the time was seen as a annoying wimpy boy on Spider-Man: Homecoming. Why? Marvel why? Did you have to do that? ‘Flash’ was a bully in Spider-man comics and a high school punk with a bulky body. Most importantly he was Caucasian not brown. I was so amazed to see what they have done with ‘flash’.

And next ‘aunt May’ she used to be an old lady with grey hair not a hot lady who wear tank tops. Simply worse. Finally ‘Mary Jane Watson’ AKA  MJ(this is the worst part) the most beautiful girl, the crush of Peter Parker. The redhead was turned to a social awkward weird girl with no friends.it was revealed in the last part of the movie that she was MJ but throughout the whole movie she just sticks around. She is not MJ or not even close to Gwen Stacy. Gwen Stacy is a another love interest of peter in comics.it was acted by Zendaya a young actress she done a good job on acting this part but it is a worst casting call.

although there were worst castings the movie turned out to be one of great spider-man movies without too many action scenes.the movie more focused on Peter Parker's moral buildup as spider-man how he understands what that is means to spider-man,a superhero.the problem with the last spider-man movie adaptation the amazing spider-man is that Sony tried to add too many characters in to a one movie and it became harder plot line to follows.but in this movie marvel was able to not to bring too many spider-man comic characters in to the silver screen but they insert some ester eggs of some characters we may see on next sequels of spider-man homecoming like Mike Morales's Uncle(Mike Morales is a another spider-man who was bitten by a spider and fight along main spider-man)
every spider-man fan is familiar with the quote"with great power comes a great responsibility" that was said by spider-man's uncle Ben.although it was never spoken on the movie it was been the whole point of this movie.how spider-man find himself to be more responsible for his actions and  be more mature.main reason to make this movie is to make spider-man more mature as a superhero so he can be added in to upcoming big marvel movie.Avengers: Infinity War (2018).

another good fact is marvel not made a another spider-man origin scene on this movie.we have seen the spider biting Peter Parker scene over and over in last movies and cartoons.
for me the most epic moment of this movie the scene where spider-man was stuck under a fallen building he acts like a normal teenage boy and he was scared crying and screams for help.people may wonder why he is crying he is a superhero but he is still a little boy from inside.director shows that even he was spider-man he was a 15 year old teenage boy form inside but he manage to understand that although he was a teenage boy he was spider-man, a hero that people can look up to, a hero with responsibilities and manage to get out of the fallen building by using his strength.

but i think iron-man was too involved in the movie. this involvement comes outs to the viewers as that iron man AKA tony stark is the one who make spider-man better. That was bad interpretation of how spider-man becomes the hero he is.And stark's spider-man suit was way beyond lines, too much tech stuff with a personal AI,the suit takes away spider-man's true potential as a superhero.I feels like anyone can be spider-man with that high tech suit. Peter Parker is a science geek and a genius. And academically brilliant with expertise in physics, chemistry, biology, engineering and applied sciences.in comics he use this brilliant mind to make his gadgets by himself not by Tony Stark

overall spider man was a good superhero movie but i hate to say that spider-man homecoming disappointed comic fans with bad casting and not making the spider-man the hero that he actually is.
